On 12 – 13 September 2014, CECCAR held the National Congress having the theme: “New dimensions and challenges of the accounting profession: Competitiveness, Innovation and Conformity”.

Anca Bogorin, Managing Partner BARIN, was invited to moderate the session called “The accounting professional’s creative role within an entity”, where she was joined by several guests from the professional elite: Mr. Ahmed Hassan – Country Managing Partner Deloitte; Mrs. Cornelia Bumbacea – Transactions Partner, PwC Romania and Mrs. Ana-Maria Dutu – Planning & Controlling Director, Unicredit Tiriac Bank.

“Creativity is not specific to arts only, but it is equally critical for the progress in sciences, mathematics, technology, politics, business, economy, management and all daily-life pursuits.  Modern information technology, besides its efficiency in managing effectively high volumes of complex economic transactions, has the role of replacing the paper, probably until its disappearance. The future in accounting will be a digital one”.
